Red's last performance opening for The
Frank Hannon Band
(Tesla) At
Constable Jack's saw John Morris(guitarist for Code Red) doing
triple duty
as Flamenco soloist, Code Red acoustic unplugged, and recording
engineer
for Frank's live album. John and Frank brought in a bunch of his
recording
gear and the crew came away with some incredible tracks! Then
John and
Frank next jumped in to
Tanglewood Studios (John 's studio) and
spent a
grueling 28 hrs mixing the live tracks down before Frank left on
a Tesla
tour. News Flash!!! Frank has invited John to sit in with the
band this
weekend Feb 12 at Cashe Creek Casino for the CD release party.
Come on out!
Code Red returns to Constable Jack's in New Castle April 16th
for a
slammin' gig. Opening the gig with be the
Atomic Kings, a 80's
type band
with original members of Steele Breeze. Remember they're 80's
hit ”You Don't
Want Me Anymore”? Put that one on your calendar!
Also, Mark Earle owner of the
Boardwalk, has asked Code Red to
open for
Jonathan Tyler and the Northern Lights at the end of March. Stay
tuned for
the date.

Sacramento’s “Code
Red”
is finally done! Founder John Morris, and
veteran players Regy Red, Steve Marsh and Juan Ortiz can
get to business of the new CD. The project was produced by
Morris’ friend and collaborator, rock legend
Ronnie Montrose.
Ronnie’s production duties ranged from dialing in the drums and
tweaking the vocals to mixing and mastering the project. |
